Lynda M. (Kampersal) Hollyfield, 64, a lifelong Holliston resident, died unexpectedly, but peacefully, in her home on Sat. Feb. 16. She was the daughter of the late Alfred A. Kampersal and Janice Marie (Dyer) and sister to the late Kenneth W. Kampersal. She is survived by her beloved daughter Cheryl M. Hollyfield and granddaughter Madison M. Pryce, her sister Bonnie L. Gouveia, of Framingham, her brother Kerry E. Kampersal and his wife Eileen (Costello) of Holliston, many adored nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. She graduated from Holliston High School in 1966 and went to Centre Secretarial School in Framingham. She was an administrative assistant for many years at Zayre, Cimflex and Columbia Tech. She enjoyed volunteering at Madisons school-Miller Elementary, the Holliston Senior Center, and at her church, the Lutheran Church of Framingham. Her kind and generous spirit was felt by all those who were blessed to know her. She enjoyed knitting caps for our troops and baby blankets for gifts to family & friends as well as spending many hours helping those in need. She loved gardening, baking and most of all spending time with her family. At the time of her death she was a Girl Scout leader for Madisons troop and a member of the LCF Congregation Council. A funeral to Celebrate her Life will take place at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 600 Central St., Holliston, Saturday, Feb. 23 at 10 a.m. Pastor Leslie D. Scanlon of the Lutheran Church of Framingham will officiate. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston. Visitation will be held at Eugene J. McCarthy and Sons Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St, Framingham, Friday, Feb. 22 from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers if you would like to make a donation, a benefit account has been established for Madison Pryce at Milford National Bank and Trust, Milford, MA 01757.
