Philomena (Cafarelli) Nobilini, 91, a resident of Framingham for many years, died Sat. March 16, 2013 at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. She was the beloved wife of the late Reno Nobilini who died in 1985. Born in Newton and raised in Hopkinton, she was a daughter of the late Giuseppi and Lucia (Paulino) Cafarelli. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, making her own pasta and doting on her grandchildren. Mrs. Nobilini was a longtime parishioner of St. Tarcisius Church in Framingham. She is survived by a daughter: Janice Marinucci of Milford and 5 grandchildren: Sandy Nobilini of Milford, Michael Nobilini and his wife Heidi of Barre, Terri Marinucci of Framingham, Tracey Kohout and husband Stephen of Hopedale, Lisa Fitzpatrick of Newton; 4 great grandchildren: James, Alexis, Catherine and Derek; a sister-in-law: Norma Pegoraro of Framingham and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by a son John "Jay" Nobilini who died in 2007 and her 9 siblings. Visiting hours are Wed. March 20 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Boyle Bros. Funeral Home, 173 Union Ave., Framingham. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thurs. March 21 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Tarcisius Church, Waverly St., (Rte. 135) Framingham with burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations in Mrs. Nobilini's name may be made to the Framingham Heart Study, 73 Mt. Wayte Ave., Framingham, MA. 01702.
