Sam Silverman Obituary
Mr. Sam Silverman age 81, a Framingham resident for 50 years died, Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Metrowest Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Arlene Silverman of 54 years. Born in Montreal, Canada on February 19, 1931, he served for the United States Military during the Korean War and re-enlisted and was stationed in Germany. He was self employed for most of his life, but is best known for working at Amy's Convenience Store on Water Street, Framingham. He is survived by his three children Linda Ellswoth and her husband Jay of Millis, David Silverman and his wife Colleen of Framingham and Joel Silverman of Marlboro. Three grandson's, Jason Ellsworth of Millis, Joshua and Daniel Silverman of Framingham. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Framingham-Natick Jewish Cemetery on 40 Fairview Ave. Framingham. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the Greater Marlboro Program Inc. 40 Mechanic Street, Suite 100, Marlboro, MA 01752 where Joel Silverman resides and receives special needs care and support along with other special needs residents.
