Obituary Condolences

Santina Dolly (Pelullo) Parabicoli, age 89, a longtime resident of Ashland, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at her home. She was the wife of 61 years to the late Richard James Parabicoli who died in 2010. Born in Natick, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Serafina (Pierro) Pelullo. Dolly worked for 30+ years at Kens Steakhouse in Framingham, MA where she graced her guests with her irresistible charm and unmatched kindness. Her greatest passion was spending time with her beloved family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Throughout her years she thoroughly enjoyed spending time in the kitchen cooking Italian dinners to send away to her loving family. She had a strong passion for participating in the Womens Guild candlepin bowling league, sewing, playing poker and dancing. She could often be found watching the Boston Red Sox and hosting many memorable holiday gatherings. She is survived by her children, Susan C. Parabicoli of Framingham, Richard A. Parabicoli and his wife Vicki of Upton, Joseph Parabicoli of Leominster, and Judith P. Barbieri and her husband Richard of Framingham; five grandchildren, Matthew Parabioli and his wife Heidi, Jenna Saunders and her husband Justin, Christa Parabicoli, Nicholas Parabicoli, and Olivia Barbieri; two great-grandchildren, Madison Saunders and Luca Parabicoli. She is also survived by her sister Mary Vitali and her husband Fred and several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She was pre-deceased by her sisters Jennie Gurliaccio, Edna Micelotta and her brother Daniel Pelullo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Monday at 9 AM from the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St, (Corner of Union Ave.) Framingham, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverley St. (Rt. 135), Framingham. Burial will be in St. Tarcisius Cemetery, Framingham. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2-5 PM In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Framingham Heart Study, 73 Mt. Wayte Ave., Framingham, MA 01702.
