Warren Reed Buzzell, age 85, of Framingham, died after a long illness, September 13, 2013, at the Newton Wellesley Center for Alzheimers Care in Wellesley. He was the husband of the late Thelma Buzzell, formerly of Framingham. Born in Medford, he was the son of the late Alfred E. and Carrie M. (Ordway) Buzzell. After serving in the US Army 88th Infantry Divsion at the end of WWII in Cividale, Italy. Mr. Buzzell attended art school and then worked as a commercial artist at Dennison Manufacturing Company in Framingham for 40 years. When he retired, he served as recess supervisor at the Wayland Academy in Framingham. He was a longtime member and former president of the Framingham Artists Guild. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon B. Inglis and her husband Scott D. Inglis of Medfield, two grandchildren, David W. Inglis and Nicole M. Inglis, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late William A. Bud Buzzell of Framingham and the late Eleanor Montgomery of Falmouth. Visiting hours at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street (corner of Union Ave.), Framingham, will be Tuesday from 5 - 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a military burial service on Saturday, September 28, at 10:30 a.m. at the Edgell Grove Cemetery, 53 Grove Street, Framingham, near the gazebo.
