Warren T. Ted Vantine, 80, of Framingham, died Sunday June 9, 2013 at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Warren Kay and Charlotte H. (Roming) Vantine. He was the husband of 54 years to Sheila (Tonra) Vantine. On June 20, 1950, Warren enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. He served honorably as a Lance Corporal in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Ted found great pleasure and had a passion for body building and formerly owned and operated the Ted Vantine Suburban Health Club in Natick on Rt.9, and was a photographer at the Vantine Studio on Boylston St. in Boston and also worked many years for Anheuser-Busch. In addition Ted was an old car enthusiast and enjoyed working on them. In addition to his wife Sheila, Mr. Vantine is survived by his daughters Julie Vantine of Ashland, Nancy Vantine of Natick and two grandchildren; Saul and Michael J. Vantine. Mr. Vantine was the father to the late John R. Vantine who died in 1999. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Friday, June 14, at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. Framingham, (Corner of Union Ave.), Framingham from 4-7 PM.
