Marian D. Butner, 88, passed away Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at Metro-West Medical Center. Born in Donalsonville, Ga., Marian was the daughter of the late Ellis and Jane (Reynolds) Graham and the wife of the late William Butner Jr., who was a lifelong resident of Framingham. Mrs. Butner was formerly employed by Fenwal Electronics in Framingham for many years, until she retired to care for her ailing husband. She was a member of AME Zion Church in Boston; a former member of the Nokomis Temple of Elks in Worcester and a Past Worthy Matron of the King David Chapter #1, Eastern Star. She leaves behind two children, Deloris L. Mabry of Bloomfield, Conn.; and Sandra M. Prince of Framingham. She also leaves three grandchildren, John Q. Mabry of Bloomfield, Conn., Christine S. Prince and Danielle N. Prince, both of Framingham; two great-grandchildren, Tyrell W. White and Alyssa C. Gunn of Framingham. Additional survivors are her two sisters, Carolyn G. West of Donalsonville, Ga., and Mildred Collier of Philadelphia, Pa., as well as a number of cousins, nieces and nephews. She has gone home to her Fathers house but will be missed. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 10:30 a.m., at MetroWest Funeral and Cremation Service of Wadsworth-Chiappini, 318 Union Ave., Framingham.
