Edward J. Wyatt, 81, of Bellingham, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2014 at the Metrowest Medical Center, Framingham, MA with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband for 58 years of Margaret Christine (OConnor) Wyatt. Born in Brighton, MA on June 27, 1932, he was the son of the late John and Josephine (Barry) Wyatt. He was the loving father of his five daughters, Stephanie LaFleur and her husband, John of Medway, Karen Wyatt and Colleen Wyatt both of Bellingham, Terri Wallace and her husband, Nick of Uxbridge, and Stacie Collins and her husband, Dan of Wrentham, and leaves his cherished 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Thomas and John Wyatt. Mr. Wyatt was a United States Air Force Korean War Veteran serving with the 3530th Supply Squadron, Byran Air Force Base, TX and received the Korean Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. Mr. Wyatt worked as an Irrigation Engineer in the Boston area until retiring in 2007. He was a member of the Elks B.P.O.E. Lodge 2136 of Franklin and had served as an officer. Devoted to his family, he will be greatly missed. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 5th at 9:30AM from Cartier's Funeral Home, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Brendans Church, 384 Hartford Ave., Bellingham. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, RI.
