Obituary Condolences

Henry Hollis, 75, died Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Metrowest Medical Center, Framingham. Born in Ashland, he was the son of the late Roy Raymond and Violet (Lord) Hollis. He was the husband of Shirley (Collette) Hollis of Framingham. Mr. Hollis served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and worked many years as a diesel mechanic. In addition to his wife Shirley, Henry is survived by his 6 sons; William and his wife Melissa, Henry, Jr. and his wife Alice, Roy, Michael and his wife Michelle, Eric and his wife Kimberly and son Scott; 3 daughters, Jayne and her husband Somva, Jan and her husband Jose and daughter Michelle; 30 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Elizabeth Lilja, his brother Raymond Carl Hollis and many nieces and nephews. Henry was the grandfather to the late Luis Acevedo, Jr. and the brother of the late Albert and Richard LeMay. Relatives and friends are kindly invite to attend his funeral on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 10AM at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street (corner of Union Ave.), Framingham followed by his graveside service at 11AM in St. Tarcisius Cemetery located on Winthrop St. off Rt. 135, Framingham. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 5-8PM In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Henrys memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
