I am very sorry for your loss. I have always been greatly comforted by the promise that one day all our pain and tears will be taken away, as well as the things that cause them. I hope you too can be comforted by this wonderful hope.

Greg Billups and Arthur shared a special relationship for many years. They were were friends for a lifetime. Arthur was a Mentor for Greg back in the day. So now Arthur is gone. And it hurts to know that will be no more emeails from us to Arthur. He was good about sharing things with us. We were connected. And our love continues to him and Florence, the light of his life. It was an honor to be part of his life.

To Barry, Steven, David and Larry,
I just wanted to express condolences on behalf of the entire Batzer family. Your loss is our loss. Your parents were two of the nicest people on the planet and I know my parents cherished their relationship with your mom and dad. I still recall the smell of his pipe as the guys played gin rummy. He will be missed but not forgotten. I know my dad and other members of their gin group who have gone before him will welcome him with open arms and have been holding a seat in their game for him. Our thoughts and prayers to all of you and your extended families.

To the Barbash Family
Our hearts are heavy with the news of Arthur's passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. All of us at Herculite were blessed by the opportunity to work alongside Arthur. We came to love and admire this family man whose sense of humor, grace and kindness will be remembered by all he touched. We are thankful for having shared a bit of time together and are better for knowing him. May he rest in peace.

To Barry, Steven, David and Larry
Your dad was a very special friend. I remember first meeting Florence and Arthur when we moved to Catherine Road in 1969. Arthur dropping in for coffee bringing his own desserts. So many wonderful memories of happy times as neighbors and through the years becoming great friends. Your parents were truly fine people. I have been missing your mom and now without your dad, I am deeply saddened. May his wonderful life that created so many great memories help you through this difficult time. Bonnie and I express our deepest sympathy and thoughts

I am so saddened by the loss of Arthur Barbash because he truly ADDED JOY to family-gatherings with his keen sense of humor, his refreshing down-to-earthness, and the genuineness with which he expressed interest in hearing what was going on in your Life. When I won an international election last April that was professional in nature, Arthur emailed me a note of congratulations AND asked me to explain exactly what I had just won. He really wanted to understand! Although I only got to know Arthur relatively recently (when Barry married my twinsister Karen 4 years ago), I INSTANTLY felt a strongly positive connection to him-- as did all of my family! And relatedly, I especially appreciate the fact that this strong connection was mutual; Arthur showed genuine interest, care, and joy in each of us! I am so sorry for your loss of a dear father and Papa, but I KNOW that Arthur will live on in EACH of us who was fortunate enough to be touched by him! Love, Debra

Larry,
I am sure that the entire Barbash family has wonderful memories of Arthur. He has left a pretty amazing legacy for his children and grandchildren, one that I am sure he was proud of. You should only have postive thoughts and a big smile when you think of your father. With great respect!

Arthur was a great guy who always had time to listen to what was happening in your life and he was a guy who actually cared about you and your family. Arthur had a great sense of humor, adored his family and will be missed in countless ways. I was honored to know him. Rest in Peace. Please give a hug to Florence!
