Charles L. Philbrick, 82, of Ashland passed away January 3rd after a period of declining health. He was the husband of Kathleen (Smith) Philbrick. Born in Middletown, CT, he was the son of the late Charles and Esther Philbrick. A veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Conflict, he served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. Besides his wife he is survived by three sons: Richard J. Philbrick and his wife Cami of Marlborough, Gerald T. Philbrick and his wife Tracey of Northbridge, and Joseph C. Philbrick and his wife Lisa of Fitchburg; and one brother, Michael Philbrick and his wife Wanda of Sydney, ME. He was the father of the late Ronald E. Philbrick. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday morning at 11 AM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland with interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Ashland.
