Obituary Condolences

Priscilla B. (Bullock) Saunders,88, a resident of Natick since 1946, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of the late John A. Saunders, Sr. who died in 2011. Born in Warrenton, NC, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Thomas) Bullock. Mrs. Saunders was primarily a homemaker but had also worked for more than 20 years at the former Cushing Hospital as a nurses' aide before retiring in 1986. She was a longtime member of the Myrtle Baptist Church in Newton and attended their Elders of Color luncheons for many years. Mrs. Saunders enjoyed volunteering at the Natick Senior Center. She is survived by a son: John A. Saunders, Jr. of Natick; a daughter: Melanee Elizabeth Wynn of Dallas, TX; 7 grandchildren: John A. Saunders, III, Jacen Saunders, Eric, Dawn and Toby Saunders, Warren and Nyla Wynn; 3 great grandchildren and her siblings: John W. Bullock, Eunice G. Stamper, Martha McCoy, Mary Mason, Josephine Brown, Annie Marie Pompey and Shelva Turner. A visiting hour will be held Sunday, Feb. 3 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Boyle Bros. Funeral Home, 173 Union Ave., Framingham. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor James Ruffins officiating. Interment is private.
