Anne Nix Obituary

Anne L. (Paige) Nix, 77, died unexpectedly Tuesday April 21, 2015 at her home. She was the wife of the late Donald C. Nix who died in 2006. They were married for 49 years. She was born in Boston, the daughter of the late George and Mary (Joanis) Paige and lived in Southborough for 52 years. Mrs. Nix was employed as the cafeteria manager for the Bose Corp. in Framingham for many years. She was a great animal lover and an avid collector of antiques, with a particular affinity for antique clocks, coins and furniture. She is survived by two daughters; Dianne Drummey of Marlborough and Denise Stamm of OK, four grandchildren; Jesseca, Jay, Gregory and Alex. She was predeceased by a son Donald Nix Jr. Private funeral arrangements, under the direction of the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the Baypath Humane Society, 5 Rafferty Rd. Hopkinton MA 01748. (www.shortfuneral.com)

We are so sorry to hear of Anne's passing. Her frequent visits to the transfer station and caring advice will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Anne's passing. I'd walk by her house every day, and stop to chat when I saw her. The neighborhood will not be the same without her.
