STONEY FORK — Wanda Faye "Pat" Blanton, 64, of Stoney Fork, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2014 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Splint, KY on July 31, 1950, a daughter of the late Willie Green and Maggie Wynn Middleton. She believed in the Holiness Faith and had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by children, Marcella Bolinger and Frederick Grant Brock; two infant grandchildren and one infant great-grandchild; brothers and sisters, Fredola Day, Jeannette Middleton, Lizzie Wilson, Rosie Amato, Sally Joshlin, Chloe Chamberlin and Dillard Middleton. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Grant Blanton, children, Donnie Blanton; Rhonda Faye and Jim Chandler; Robin Gail and Paul Graves; Jeffery Grant Blanton and Gregory Zack Brock; grandchildren, Lita Gregory; Tyler Blanton; Kenean Blanton and Jonathan Dozier; very special great-grandchildren, Sabrina Brock, Neveah Brock; Bentley Blanton and Brylee Thomas; brothers, Harmon Middleton; Ralph Middleton; Tom Middleton and Roy Middleton, two very special friends, Dorie Lawson and Sue Saylor and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at the Jenson Pentecostal Church with Rev. Kenneth Saylor, Rev. Freddy Johnson , Rev. Demus Couch and Rev. Richard Asher. Music will be by Daniel and Crystal Warwick and church friends. Burial will be in the Blanton & Brock Cemetery, Stoney Fork, KY. Pallbearers will be Gregory Brock, Tyler Blanton, Jonathan Dozier, Kenean Blanton, William Blanton and Scotty Blanton. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 9 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center. On Thursday the family will receive friends after 3:00 PM at the Jenson Pentecostal Church. The Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville is honored to serve the Blanton family. STONEY FORK — Carl Helton, 75, of Stoney Fork, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014 in Stoney Fork. He was born in Stoney Fork on January 8, 1939 a son of the late Jonas and Elizabeth Saylor Helton. He believed in the Pentecostal Faith and had worked at Sizemore Hardware for many years as a delivery man. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Austin Napier; sister, Gertrude Helton; brothers, Dennis, James and Delbert Helton. Survivors include his devoted loving wife of 52 years, 7 months and 24 days, Lou Ann Brock Helton; children and their spouses, Earnest and Dorothy Helton; Sandra and Demus Couch; Jarvis and Darlene Helton; Pamela Napier and Gary and Kyla Helton; grandchildren, Sabrina (Jonathan) Miracle; Timothy (Lindsey) Couch; Judy Causey; Heather (Corey) Napier; Ashley Couch; Jacquelyn (Neil) Craft; Brittany (Christan) Mason; Tiffany Helton; Cody Helton and Chase Helton; great-great-grandchildren, Jade and Jaxon Craft; Addison Causey, Connor and Aubree Miracle; Colton Napier; Caleb, Emmett and baby, Landon Mason; sister, Brenda (John) Hanson (Carl was a great brother and daddy to her); brothers, Denver (Ada Mae) Helton; Bobby (Sarah) Helton; Dewey Helton; sisters-in-law, Lilly Helton and Shirley Helton and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday at the Jenson Pentecostal Church with Rev. Tommy Elliott, Rev. Demus Couch, Rev. Joe Jr. Caldwell and Rev. Richard Asher. Music will be by the Church family. Burial will be in the Helton-Brock Cemetery at Stoney Fork with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 until 8 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel and after 8:30 PM Tuesday at the Jenson Pentecostal Church. PINEVILLE — Bobbie Jo "Bobo" Marlow, 46, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at home surrounded by family. She was born in Garden City, Kansas on May 11, 1968, a daughter of the late John and Desiele Hill Marlow. She was a member of Lighthouse Tabernacle and had been a homemaker. Bobo was a second mother to all her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved dearly. She loved quilting, fishing, singing and embroidery and she was a blessing to her whole family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Arlen Lambert and his wife, Maxine Lambert and a brother-in-law, Bill Jenkins. Survivors include her brothers and sisters, Sharon Jenkins; Mark and Sherrie Bertram; Shelia Lawson; Robbie and George Hensley; Rosiale "Rosie" and Bobby Brock; Norma "Korkie" Daniels; Daniel and Debbie Marlow; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends. Special recognition is given to Bobby Brock for opening his home to the family for the care of their sister. Memorial Services will be at 8:30 PM Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jimmie Lee. At her request Bobbie Joe Marlow was cremated at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 until 8:30 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Marlow Family. BELL COUNTY — Virginia Goodin Brown, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Bell County on November 16, 1920 a daughter of the late James and Sydney Rains Goodin. Virginia had been a member of East Jellico Baptist Church since 1933. She had worked in the State Park System for several years at both Cumberland Falls and Pine Mountain State Park. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Brown; daughter, Priscilla Lester and granddaughter, April Michelle Woods. Survivors include her daughter, Peggy (Marcellus) Woods of Pineville; grandchildren, Beverly (David) Gilpin of Knoxville, TN; Kim (Bill) Halbert of Knoxville; Mark (Teresa) Lester of Frankfort; great-grandchildren, Blake Saylor; Madison (Bart) Short; Cody Saylor and Robyn Halbert; sister, Geneva Stout of Evarts and a special care taker, Malinda Brock. Services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jack Smith and Rev. Robert Hughes. Music will be by Evylene Goodin and Georgeanne McGaffee. Burial will be in the Pineville Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Blake Saylor, Cody Saylor, Bart Short, Mark Lester, Bill Bailey and Bill Woods.
