ARJAY — Donald Dean Fugate, 61, of Arjay, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was born in Molus on May 28, 1952, a son of Conley Taylor and Ruth Saylor Taylor. He was a member of the Green Camp Pentecostal Church and had been a coal miner.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Taylor McKenzie Fugate; brothers, Eugene Fugate, Roger Taylor and Allen Taylor.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Sue Smith Fugate; children, Donald Dean Fugate, Jr., Angela Marie Carnes, Tabitha Lynn Risner, Jeremiah Fugate and Kaitlyn Grace Fugate; grandchildren, Abigail Risner, Emma Risner, Dylan Carnes, Megan Brock, Ashley Goodin, Derrick Fugate and Morgan Fugate; great-grandchildren, Payson Brock, Jaxson Goodin and Aaliyah Goodin; brothers and sister, Tammy Taylor Bryant, Philip Wayne Taylor and Lester Fugate and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Arjay Pentecostal Church with Rev. Jody Risner and Rev. Gary Wagner. Music will be by the Green Camp Pentecostal Church members. Burial will be in the Red Hill Cemetery at Arjay with grandsons and nephews serving as pallbearers.
