Sarah Witt

MAYNARDVILLE, Tenn. — Witt, Sarah Modean-age 83, of Maynardville, passed away suddenly Saturday, August 2, 2014 at her home. God called home a very special woman.

Sarah was a member of Hubbs Grove Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Edward and Lear Allison Evans; husband of 54 years, O. B. Witt; sons, Tommy and David Witt; great-grandson, William Justin Barnett.

Survivors: son and daughter-in-law: Russell and Joyce Witt of Round Lake, Ill.; Daughters, Amber Elaine Byrd, Robin Witt and Arlette Spencer, all of Maynardville. A host of nieces and nephews.

With every single choice we make and every breath we get to take is all because two people fell in love. That love has built an amazing family with four children, 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services 11 A.M. Thursday, August 7, 2014, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. James Whitson officiating. Interment to follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville.

The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro, Kentucky and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville, Tennessee.
