FRAKES — Caleb Miracle Jr., 68, of Frakes, KY, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born November 25, 1945 in Middlesboro, KY, the son of the late Caleb Miracle Sr. and Ora Partin Miracle. He was a member of the New Vine Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Dorothy Partin and two brothers: Herbert and Homer Miracle.
He is survived by the following members of his loving family:
His wife of 49 years: Thelma Miracle of Frakes, KY
Son: Malcolm (Lydia) Miracle of Tazewell, TN
Daughter: Amanda (Cager) Lawson of Frakes, KY
Grandchildren: Ashely (Adam) Haley or Tazewell, TN, Kyle Miracle of Tazewell, TN and Caleb Lawson of Frakes, KY
3 Sisters: Hattie Simms, Erma Scott and Maxine Corkran all of Chenoa, KY
1 Brother: Harold Miracle of Chenoa, KY
And a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, at the New Vine Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Kishpaugh and Rev. Wayland Mason presiding.
Music will be provided by John D. Browning and the New Vine Singers.
Interment will follow in the New Vine Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cager Lawson, Jim Scott, Mike Hatfield, David Hatfield, Todd Fuson and Rodney Miracle.
Honorary pallbearers will be Caleb Lawson, Kyle Miracle, Cameron Fuson, Austin Fuson, Keean Fuson and Ethan Scott.
