BRISTOL, Tenn. — Hazel Lynch Beidleman, age 93, of Bristol, TN, died on Monday, August 4, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness. She was a native of Middlesboro, KY and had resided in Bristol since 1945. She was the daughter of the late Milburn and Georgia Long Lynch and the widow of Joseph Beidleman whom she married in 1950. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Hobart Lynch and a sister, Millie Ruth Lynch Hearn.

Mrs. Beidleman was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Bristol, VA where she was active for several years as an officer in the Women's Ministries of the church.

Mrs. Beidleman was a graduate of Middlesboro High School and Bryant and Stratton Business College of Louisville, KY. She was associated with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for twenty-two years in Middlesboro and Bristol. Following her retirement from Metropolitan Life, she was employed with Graham School Pictures, W.T. Grant Office, Moretz Candy Company, Affiliated Brokerage Company and Anderson Elementary School.

Survivors include one brother, Marion Lynch and wife, Bobbie Ann of Harrogate, TN; one nephew, Kyle Lynch and wife, Stephanie and their children, Eleanor and James, all of Alexandria, VA. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews on her husband, Joseph's side.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at First Assembly of God Church, Bristol, VA with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Carrico officiating.

The graveside service will follow the funeral at Glenwood Cemetery on Friday. Active pallbearers will be Richard, Alan, Raymond and Matthew Higginbotham, Kyle Lynch and Charles Stallings. Sam Honeycutt will serve as honorary pallbearer.
