PINEVILLE — Andrew "Andy" Williams, 78, of Pineville, passed away Saturday, June 7, at the Pineville Community Hospital.
He was born July 28, 1935 in Pineville, KY, the son of the late John and Patsy Ann Buell Williams.
He was a believer in the Baptist Faith.
He had served as 5th District Magistrate for Bell County for 25 years, he had also served as Mayor of Pineville for 4 years and was manager of Lincoln Finance for 32 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters: Katherine Martin, Martha Beggs, Mary Ada Williams, Jim Williams, Cammie Williams, Woodrow Williams and Kelly Williams.
He is survived by the following members of his family:
Wife: Mary C. Green Williams
2 Sons: Timothy Lee Williams and Mitchell Andrew (Martha) Williams
3 Daughters: Alisa Ann (Ronnie) Smith, Kimberly Dru Williams and Casandra Gay (David Asher) Williams
Brother: Avil Williams
2 Sisters: Etta Rose Williams and Barbara (Mike) Hoskins
Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Bill E. Green, Jewell (Nick) Woodard, Gretchen Green and Susan Green (Don) Bryson.
Grandchildren: Sara McGladdery, Christian Leigh Williams, Kimmie Callebs Shackleford, Justin Andrew Callebs, David A. Russell, Britney Russell, Jonathan Russell, Zachary Collis, Sydney Jean Spurlock, Jaymi Tiffner Swafford, Cameron Mitchell Williams and Andrew Kelly Williams.
9 Great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, at the Riverside Baptist Church with the Rev. David Peters and Rev. Murphy Buell presiding. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, at the Pineville Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Brooks presiding.
