HARROGATE, Tenn. — Eva G. Crigger, age 79, of Harrogate, TN passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Claiborne County Hospital. She was born December 19, 1934 in Fork Ridge, TN, the daughter of the late Charles Stanley Williams and Asalee Hensley Williams. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Eugene Crigger; nephew, Chuck Stepp; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
She is survived by her daughters: Maria (Doug) Daniels and Teresa (David) Massengill; grandchildren: Alexandrea (Andrew) Breeding, Morgan Daniels, and Samuel Daniels; sisters: Elizabeth (Hayden) Gibson, Sandy Wade, and Marilyn (Tom) Mayes; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Thelma Crigger Greer, Ruth Wilder, Don and Betty Crigger; very special friends: Joyce Skidmore, Myrle Kelly Jones and Sonia Narwell; special recognition to Amedisys Home Health, ER and ICU Staff of Claiborne County Hospital.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2014 at Green Hills Memorial Gardens with Patty Massengill officiating. Pallbearers will be David Massengill, Doug Daniels, Samuel Daniels, Andrew Breeding, Bill Gibson, Howard Stepp, Wes Mayes, and Wayne Mills. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2014 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Gateway Christian School or East Cumberland Baptist Church.
