Dear Barb and family,

We were saddened and shocked to hear about Bernie - I remember waving at him at John's party and he returned a big smile which I will think of always.

Sincerely,

Bob and Linda Connelly

In 1983, a man and his wife took in a child to raise with their family. This man and his wife molded this child and they are THE REASON that I am who I am today. I hope that Bernie knew how much he meant to me. I have never been very good at visiting as often as I should have. I'm sure everyone who knew Bernie knew how big of a heart he had. He always had a stearn voice..but somewhere in that voice I always felt safe and secure and loved. Thank you Bernie, and Barb, for loving me. I love you Bernie. Lori Miller-Minge
