Edith PATE Obituary


News Death Notice

PATE, Edith Ann age 83, of Trenton, died Monday, April 30, 2012 at her residence. She was born October 11, 1928 in Norwood, Ohio, the daughter of Lionel Francis McFeeter and Thelma Loraine (Slattery) McFeeter. Edith managed Brown's Run Riding Club. She was a Girl Scout Leader and 4-H Leader. She was a Sunday school teacher and directed the church choir at Bethlehem Lutheran Church at the age of 13. Edith was a member of the Edgewood City School Board and was very involved with Butler County Fair. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Rudolph Pate; one daughter, Becky (Craig) Smith of Trenton; two sons, Rob (Bonnie) Pate and Rick (Sandy) Pate both of Trenton; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one brother Robert Emery (Loretta) McFeeter of Middletown. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a grandson, Hayden Vizedom. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Pastor John Lewis officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park. A guestbook is available at www.breitenbachfuneralhome.com.
