News Death Notice

DELPH, Edith age 84 of Hamilton passed away Wednesday November 3, 2010 at Fort Hamilton Hospital. She was born June 27, 1926 in East Bernstadt, Kentucky the daughter of the late William and Parille (nee Robinson) Moore. Mrs. Delph was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fairfield. On February 7, 1944 in London, Kentucky she married Alex Delph, who preceded her in death on March 12, 2006. Mrs. Delph worked many hours giving service to others. She is survived by two sons, Eddie (Nellie) Delph of Hamilton and Donald (Susan "Nina") Delph of Millville; one daughter, Mary Ann (Jim) Thomas of Enid, Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Edgar and Scott Moore and two sisters, Margaret Franklin and an infant sister at birth. Visitation 5-8 PM Friday November 5, 2010 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield. Additional visitation at the Bowling Funeral Home 1704 Main Street, London, Kentucky on Saturday November 6, 2010 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM.
