Ethel Curtis, 93, of Durham, wife of the late Donald Curtis, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Twin Maples Healthcare in Durham. While her husband was serving active duty during World War II, Ethel worked at Durham Manufacturing. Prior to her retirement in 1980, she was employed at the Durham Post Office. Ethel's priority in life was her dedication to the American Legion Unit 184 and its related organizations.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Joslyn of Durham and her grandson, Kenneth Dale, Jr. of North Carolina. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Tammy Dale.
