Louise C. Schaeffer, 70, wife of John Schaeffer of Frissell Terrace, passed away on February 24, 2013 at Middlesex Hospital following a long illness. She was born August 21, 1942 , daughter of the late James Whalen and Catherine (LaRoe) Brown. She was a member of St. Sebastian Church. She was employed by Scottie and Daniels, Portland
Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Leonard Lewis of Middletown. A daughter and son-in-law, Christine Kellie and her husband, Mark of Windsor. A brother, Charles Brown of Cherryville, Missouri. A sister, Ruby Brown of Granite City, Illinois. Also many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 A.M. from the D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main Street, Middletown followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Sebastian Church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30am.
