Albert Henry "Al" Breault

1930 - 2013

Albert Henry Breault, 82, longtime resident of Middletown and Durham, passed away on April 18, 2013. He was born June 29, 1930 in Lancaster, NH to the late Felix and Florence (Parrish) Breault. Al resided in Guildhall, VT where he married his wife Mary Elizabeth Holcomb in 1948. In 1949, they moved to CT where he pursued a career as a dairy herdsman in Bloomfield, CT at the Nielson Farm and ultimately went to work at the Connecticut Valley Hospital where he retired in 1989 after 34 years, ending his service as the supervisor of the Grounds Department. Al was an avid gardener and landscaper, raised show quality Doberman Pinschers and enjoyed driving grandkids around with his tractor.
Along with his wife, Mary of 64 years, Al is survived by two brothers, Lester (Kay) Breault, Montpelier, VT, and Chester Breault, Groveton, NH; two sisters, Dot Beliveau, Lancaster, NH, and Pearl Styles, North Haverhill, NH; a daughter, Catherine (John) Crovo; three sons, Timothy Breault, Daniel Breault and Matthew Breault; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, April 25th at 11:00am at Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown. There will be no calling hours and interment will occur at a later date in the Ridgewell Cemetery in Guildhall, VT.
