Bruce Charette Obituary

Bruce Adrien Charette, 64, of Meriden, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, June 9th at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Van Buren, ME, he was the son of the late Fernand and Irene (Violette) Charette. Bruce lived in Meriden for over thirty years and loved golf, gardening, and cooking. Bruce is survived by his daughter, Danielle Charette of Middletown; his brother, John and Cathy Charette of Ansonia, a sister, Anne Charette of Ansonia; two grandchildren, Jenna Young and Justin Brewer of Middletown and two nieces and a nephew. There will be no funeral service and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends and family may call on Monday, June 17th from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown and may send messages of condolence to the family at www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.

Little though most do not know Bruce Charette was a Icon
of spiritualism. He knew and lived beyond the everyday trappings
of what we call the norm.
Not too soon. But maybe too late. He rose above us all. RBB
