From the time I first learned from Casey that she was dealing with melanoma, I was impressed by her determination, intelligence, faith, and strong spirit. I had no doubt that she would prevail. I don't understand why she had to leave us all, especially her children and family. She was so very alive. There are mysteries that are beyond me. There is also a saying that in every bad there's a little bit of good. I don't know what that good can be, but I can imagine Casey's shining love prevailing in the world in some new way. I am heartbroken, but I'll keep on loving her.
Wishes of healing to her family.

Casey and I worked together at YMCA camp Ingersoll back in the early 2000's and she was such a wonderful person to be around. Her positive spirit and upbeat personality made a huge impact on the lives of the campers and fellow staff members that she worked with.
Thank you Casey for making our lives brighter. You will be missed and remembered.

I will always remember Casey's tenaciousness and bravery throughout this past year. She taught us all so much about courage and strength and having a positive attitude. I never heard her complain even in the middle of discouraging news. That spirit lives on in her children, Jackson and Jasey. God Bless You, Dear Girl . Rest peacefully.
