Darlene Durgan Obituary
Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home, 112 Main Street, East Hampton on Thursday, October 17th from 6PM until 8PM. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 18th at 11AM in the East Hampton Congregational Church with the Rev. Thomas Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery in Middle Haddam. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Susan B. Koman Breast Cancer Fund, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265. You were taken way to early and must have been a chosen one. Tho I only knew you for a short time I often think of you and your family. Still have your grad. picture with Randy. You were a beautiful girl inside and out. Our deepest sympathy for your family. RIP Darcy. You have your wings.

My deepest condolences to all of Darcey's family and friends. I knew her only as a student in an on-line class that I was teaching, and that she was taking up to the time she passed away. She was a superb student, and a leader to the rest of our small "remote" group. The fact that she continued to dedicate herself to submitting outstanding work right up to time she could no longer continue says so much about her.

My thoughts and condolences go out to all of Darcey's family and friends. She and I had recently reconnected after many years and I am so saddened to hear of her passing. I will cherish the memories and I know that she has left an impression on many including myself that will not be forgotten.

I am very sorry to learn that your daughter, Darlene has passed away. While I never met Darlene I want to pass along my most sincere condolences to you and Sandra. I left Cobalt in 1963 and recognize that you may not remember me. My condolences to your brother Robert as well.
