LAROSA, ELIZABETH A. ( SATONICK) Elizabeth “ Betty “ Larosa 79 of Middletown, passed away on Friday , November 29 at Hartford Hospital. Born on November 27, 1934 in Unionville, Ct. she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline ( Macala ) Satonick. Betty worked at Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford intil she retired and was a long time member of the Middletown Elks Emblem Club. She is fondly remembered by her family for her love of a good tag sale and for her excellent cooking - especially her potatoes and homemade spaghetti sause. She is survived by her 3 sons Lewis R. LaRosa Jr. and fiance Tracy Vess of Middletown, Sebastian J. LaRosa and wife Denise of Portland, John P. Larosa of Middletown. 2 sisters Florence Buttaro of Forestville, Patricia Gorecki of Simsbury. A brother Joseph “ Cy “ Satonick and wife Mary of Southington. 5 grandchildren Jason LaRosa and wife Sarah of Middletown, Joshua LaRosa and wife Sabrina of Cromwell, Nicole Burgess of Cromwell, Nicholas Larosa and Christina LaRosa both of Portland. 2 great grandchildren Teagan LaRosa and Brylee LaRosa, both of Middletown. also several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 am in the Coughtlin - Lastrina Funeral Home 491 High St. Middletown . Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery Middletown. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9 an until the time of the service.
