Emily D’Aversa Obituary
She sang with the Middletown Tuners with her husband Dominic, who predeceased her. She was as accomplished artist and writer, writing poetry and short stories for her family. She enjoyed sharing her life's experiences with the many people who knew and cared for her.
Emily is survived by her children; Donna DiMauro of Middletown, Charlene Libby of Bath, ME, Patricia Harris of Plainfield and Michael Bearce of Buckfield, ME. She had 8 grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Gertrude Smith of Bar Harbor, ME.
There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Maine. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that charitable contributions be made to Middlesex Hospice and Palliative Care at 28 Crescent Street, Middletown, CT 06457. There are no words to express how devastated I am for this loss.Emily was like my bestfriend I will always remember our laughs and our talks.I Loved hearing her stories about Maine.I am grateful I was able to care for her she will forever hold a place in my heart.My condolences are with the family in this time of need.
