Francies Roget Obituary
Frank, as she was affectionately known, lived in New York City before moving to Connecticut, where she resided for over the past 40 years. She was employed by Pratt and Whitney until her retirement. She was a loyal and faithful member of Cross Street AME Zion Church until she became ill. After a long struggle with sickness, God saw her load was getting heavy. Her hills were hard to climb and so quietly and peacefully, he whispered to her. Peace, Peace my child, Peace by thine.
Along with her parents and her husband, she is predeceased by her brothers William (Bubba) and Nathaniel (Butch) Grissett. She is survived by her three children, Joseph Michael Roget Jr. and his wife Crystal of Middletown, CT. Arcena Marie Roget Privott and her husband Rodney of Middletown, CT, and Wayne Michael Roget of Middletown, CT. Ten grandchildren, Tamisha, Chazz, Wayne, Jr., Anthony, Daniel, Ashley, Raymond, Chay'ann, Raquel and Rochelle. Four great grandchildren, Jayla, Dhafir, Jr., Jordan, and Alina. Three brothers, Eugene Grissett of Brooklyn, NY, Augustus Grissett and his wife Beverly of Syracuse, NY, and Roderick Jackson of Tampa, FL. A brother-in-law, Andre Roget and his wife Jeanie of Las Vegas, NV. Three sister in laws, Gwendolyn Grissett of Bronx, NY, Delores Birkett and her husband Ralphe of Las Vegas, NV, and Barbara Roget of Bronx, NY. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and a special cousin that she thought of like a sister, Elizabeth Davis.
Funeral services will be held at the D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main Street in Middletown on Saturday at 11:00 A.M.. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Saturday from 8-10 A.M. Burial will follow in the family plot in Pine Grove Cemetery. Online condolences may be left on our web site at www.dangelofuneralhome.com.
