Geraldine Fladd

FLADD, GERALDINE (BERRY) Geraldine Elizabeth “Betty” (Berry) Fladd, 83, of Cromwell, beloved wife of Charles T. Fladd of fifty-seven years, passed away on Tuesday, January 21st at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Hamden, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Valerie (LaChapelle) Berry. Growing up in Middletown, she graduated from Woodrow Wilson, Class of 1947 and was a member of Saint John Church in Cromwell. Along with her husband, she is survived by her son and daughter, Thomas Fladd and his wife, Pamela of Cromwell and Valerie Deutsch and her husband, William of Chesterfield, VA; her brother, Paul Berry and his wife, Lillian of Portland; and eight grandchildren, Sarah Magruder and her husband, Nick of Meriden, Russell Fladd of Cromwell, William Deutsch and his wife, Sarah of Woodbridge, VA, Austin Deutsch of the U.S. Navy, Holly Deutsch of West End, NC, Heidi Deutsch, Irene Deutsch and Rostile Deutsch, all of Chesterfield, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 24th at 10:00am at Saint John Church, 5 Saint John Court, Cromwell. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations in Geraldine’s memory to the charity of their choice.
