Gladys Milardo Obituary

Gladys B. Milardo, 90, wife of the late Christopher Milardo of 69 Linbert Street passed away on Tuesday, June 5th, at Middlesex Hospital. She was born in New Britain, CT on May 14, 1923, daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Riggio) Belfiore. She is survived by two sons, Christopher Milardo of Columbia, CT and Thomas Milardo of Middletown, CT as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by three brothers, Frank Belfiore, Paul Belfiore and Michael Belfiore as well as two sisters, Pam Belfiore and Mary Gordons. She belonged to St. Sebastian Church as well as St. Francis Church. She enjoyed her pet cat, Chucky, and she loved to watch the New York Giants.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 7th, at 10:00 A.M, at St. Sebastian Church, followed by burial in the family plot in St. Sebastian Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main Street, Middletown on Friday morning from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the ANIMAL SHELTER of the DONORS CHOICE. Online condolences may be made at www.dangelofuneralhome.com.
