I have so many childhood memories of my Aunt Grace. She came all the way up to Higganum from Essex to bring me to the school bus for my first day of school. She was always there in many ways and through my growing years, encouraging me in those difficult teenage years. She and my Uncle John were raising a large family themselves, and life was not easy.
It was my privilege to spend a few weeks every year as her substitute caregiver while her daughter Dotty and husband Rodney spent a few well deserved weeks on Cape Cod. It was very good to "reconnect" and spend time with her just before she became critically ill and needed round the clock care. I will miss my Aunt Grace and all the conversations and laughs that we shared. Grace H. Rogers
