My Deepest Sympathies to Harold's family. My Aunt Virginia and Uncle Cliff Marx were neighbors. As a child I remembered him coming over to visit (always through the backyards). I am now grown and in my 50's but 4 or 5 years ago I called him up to see if he would like to do me a favor and come to my daughter's school, Thomas Edison to speak to the children with some other Veterans, he did not hesitate for one moment to say Yes. The kids really enjoyed him. He always kept the listeners very interested. He liked to throw in a few zingers to get the kids going. He will be greatly missed. Sincerely,Jo-Anne,Jeff and Courtney Barrett

RIP cousin Harold and condolences to the family. He lived a very full life and we have many wonderful memories of Harold at the Rochette family reunions. Also, my mom and I read his riveting book. Several years ago I wrote an article for a local newspaper about WW II era Christmases. Your dad provided me with some excellent insight into the era when I interviewed him, and as I think about, I believe that was the last time I saw him.

Tommy and I were so sorry to hear of the death of Harold. His dear wife Doris , was Tommy's mom,s dearest first cousin and they spent their childhood together. Harold was a wonderful man and will be missed. We enjoyed talking with Harold and he shared our 50th wedding anniversary party with all of us 2 years ago ,at our home on Bow Lane. All the Inglis family shared many wonderful memories with Harold on that special day. We were so happy that he was able to come that day. Our entire Inglis Family want to express our sincere sympathy to "Buddy " and " Bobby " and their entire family. Our hearts and prayers are with you all.
Very sincerely,
Tommy and Patty Inglis and our entire Inglis Family.
