The funeral will be held today, (Nov. 8th) at 11a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to the Haddam Volunteer Ambulance, PO Box 48, Higganum, CT 06441, the Haddam Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O. To Rudy and the rest of the Durinick family….it's with great sadness we are saying goodbye, but God has better things for her to do these days, and we'll soon catch up with her.

My Aunt Josie...what can I say except I loved you dearly and will miss you for the rest of my days. I have wonderful memories of you from my childhood, and I'm so grateful that my parents selected you to be my godmother. Rudy, Monika, and all the grandkids and great grandkids, I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I had words to ease your sorrow--I hope in time the grief will subside and only good memories will remain.
