Julia Linares Obituary
She is survived by her children, Paul Linares and his wife Kathy of Middletown, Ronald Linares and his wife Lori of Middletown, and Wayne Linares of Middletown. Her daughter, Donna Brown and her husband Jim of Portland. Her eight grandchildren, Paul Linares and his wife Michelle of East Haddam, Michael, Marc, Lauren, Justin and Alaina Linares of Middletown, Daniel (D.J.) and Shanna Brown of Portland. Her six great grandchildren, Brian, Jacob, John, Stephano, Nikki and Brooke Linares, and many nieces and nephews, dear friends, as well as her family at Apple Rehab of Middletown.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Paul W. Linares, Sr., the love of her life, her siblings, Gracie Chiaro, Theresa Simmons, Carmel Yacur and Rocco Chiaro. Julia loved her family and friends, having long conversations with her dear friend, Antoinette Moore and the late Carmella Ranno.
The family would like to thank the staff at Apple Rehab, her Angels, Dottie, Marie, Elenore and all of her Honeys, as well as the entire staff of the Weiss Hospice Unit, for the loving care given to our Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and special friend Julia.
Funeral services will be held from Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver Street, Middletown, CT, on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 9:15 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Pius X Church, Westfield Street, Middletown. Burial will be at St. Sebastian Cemetery. Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home on Friday from 4 to 7 P.M.
Donations in Julia's name may be made to Apple Rehab Center Recreation Department, 600 Highland Avenue, Middletown, CT 06457 or Weiss Hospice Unit, Middlesex Hospital, Department of Philanthropy, 28 Crescent Street, Middletown, CT 06457

Hi Mom, I love you and miss you so much. I am happy your with dad who is the love of your life, you always said you wish daddy was with you and now you are together again and happy. I wish I could see you both together and happy. I need both of you to help keep our family together, I am so scared that my brothers are going to forget me. I am trying to call or send messages to them so they don't forget. Please watch over me for the illiness I have developed two years ago, guide me to right choices I need to make. Hi Mom, I miss you so much, this is so hard for me. I love you so much and every day I think of you and the many memories I have in my heart. Writing in here to you helps a little but I still wish you were here to talk to. I know you hear me when I just start talking out loud to you. Hi Mom, in two days,the 4th of July,it will be a month that you have been gone and i miss you so much. I lived with you my whole life, except the last two years when you got sick and needed more care than I was able to give you. I have so many memories, good, bad, funny, and most of all loving. You taught me so much through the years I will always remember. I love you mom and I miss you more than you will ever know. I need your help to make me stroung and stop crying, and when I have to go to NY I know you and dad will be watching over me and help me fight these Illnesses that I have in my body.I know you will guid me and help me. To all the Linares family, so sorry for your great lost,Julia was such a great person, she was an amazing lady, she loved everyone,she always had my greatest respect, came Christmas time, I made sure to send her a card, and a gift certificate from Athanian's Diner,cause she love to go out to eat,I did that for more than 20 years, for her, cause she gave me love, and affection, she deserved it so, I'm so happy I did It, we always greeted each other. What a lady! And putting up with all of Ronnies friends. She and Paul were always smiling. Always the mother to all of the guys that walked into her home. We were definately welcomed. I will remember her always. Julia, you were the best!!!
