Margaret Pullman

1928 - 2013

Margaret Pullman, 84, wife of the late Anthony J. Pullman, Sr. passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on May 20, 2013. She was born September 11, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Hutchinson) Dinsdale of Carperby, North Yorkshire, England. Margaret grew up on her family farm in England and after graduating, she joined the English Royal Air Force where she traveled the world extensively. One of her fondest memories was visiting Egypt to see the pyramids. She had a lengthy career in Nursing at Norwalk and Middlesex Hospitals and lived in Rockfall, CT for most of her life where she raised her children until moving to Malone, NY upon retirement. While in Malone, NY, she volunteered for Hospice of the North Country. She spent many summers with family in Pennsylvania and enjoyed time at Chapman Lake. She was very fond of her Collies, especially Laddie. She is survived by her sons, David Cadra and his wife Cathy of Fairfield, CT, Anthony Pullman, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Middletown and Thomas Pullman and his wife Connie of Higganum and daughter, Gina Sutton and her husband Ross of Constable, New York; 7 grandchildren, John Cadra, Christopher Cadra and Kyle Cadra of Fairfield, Alexa Pullman and Thomas Pullman Jr. of Higganum and Anthony Lamb and Brittany Lamb of Malone, NY. She also leaves her siblings Eric, Francis, Ellen, Mary, Rita and Brian as well as extended family in England. She will be missed greatly by her family and everyone she knew. We would like to thank the staff at Franklin County Nursing Home Senior Care Services for their kindness and care of Margaret. At the request of the family, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Middlesex Hospital in Margaret's name.
