Marion Kyger Obituary

Marion S. Kyger, of Kissimmee, Florida, who died August 29, 2013, was buried on September 28, 2013 following a celebration of life at St. Mary of the Angels Episcopal Church. She was born in Middletown, CT, August 17, 1924, daughter of Middletown residents Mabel Edith White and Edward Nicholas Stueck. She graduated from Central Connecticut University and taught elementary school for many years. She married Paul S. Kyger, Jr. on June 26, 1954, at Church of the Holy Trinity in Middletown and they settled in Chicago where they raised four children and where he served as a priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago. She and Paul retired to Florida in 1995. She was active in the Episcopal church all of her life singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School, and serving on the Altar Guild. She is survived by her husband, four children, Mary Ellen (Charles), of Deerfield, IL, Marion (Michael) of McHenry, IL, Susan (Mandel) of Orlando, FL, and Paul (Jacquie) of Kissimmee, FL and eight grandchildren (Ashley, Lila, Katherine, Madeline, Paul, Meghan, Eve, and Jacquie).
