Paolo Russo

RUSSO, PAOLO Paolo Russo, 77, husband of Vincenza (Monarca) Russo of Spring St., Middletown, passed away Sunday at Middlesex Hospital. He was born May 8, 1936 in Melilli Sicily, son of the late Vincenzo and Rosa (Caminito) Russo. He was a retired Machinist from Fenner-Russell America Inc. He was a member of St. Sebastian Church, in Middletown. He had a desired love for gardening, reading his daily Italian Newspaper (Oggi), watching Italian Calico (Soccer) and spending time with his kids and wife of 41 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Vincenzo Russo, Sebastiano Russo and Massimo Russo of Middletown. His brother Sebastiano Russo of Belgium and sister Nella (Russo) Messina of Melilli Sicily, his brothers-in-law, Angelo Monarca, Guerino Monarca, Ottavio Monarca, Aldo Monarca and sisters-in-law, Carmela Pitruzzello and Connie Carta, along with many nieces and nephews here and overseas. He is predeceased by his brother Giuseppe Russo of Melilli Sicily, brothers-in-law, Concetto and Vittorio Monarca and sisters-in-law, Angelina Monarca and Giuseppa Milardo. Funeral Services will be held Saturday morning at 9 AM from the D’Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Sebastian Church. Burial will be followed in the family plot at St. Sebastian Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call the Funeral Home Friday from 5-8 PM.
