Dad,
Just hold me in your arms, and let this moment linger. It is time for you to go and I must stay. You taught me how to love you, now teach me how to say goodbye. Dad it has always been an honor to be your daughter and may your soul pass thru Ireland on your way to heaven.

Happy Father's Day,
Your angel

Bob and Linda, so sorry to hear about Uncle Dick. Lots of memories from when we were little..."Navy toast" at Cedar Island and him taking us to Mets games are among the best.

Always will remember Uncle Dick and Grandma Ag on the end of the Thanskgiving table because they were lefties. I also used to be confused how he could be watching the Cowboys and coaching them at the same time. I was convinced he was Tom Landry for a long time! I wish him and my family peace.

Dick Guere introduced me to Aikido in 1983 when I was taking a class taught by him for the State of CT. Little did he know that I would one day have my own dojo and attribute much of my life work to a chance meeting with him. He was always so gracious and kind. Most of all he exemplified professionalism as a correctional officer and teacher. I regret that I did not have the opportunity to speak with him and thank him for his encouragement. Godspeed Mr. Guere.
