Bob had an extraordinary impact on my life. He was my first boss directly out of college at the Hartford Insurance Group. He was a friend, mentor, and provided me the opportunities which set the way for my entire work life. He was always willing to allow someone else to take the credit for. successes but he was always helping behind the scenes. If I had to pick a few people who had the most impact on my life Bob would be one of those people. A true loss to the world

I am going to miss my Thursday visits with Bob very much. Each Thursday, I'd ask how he was, and he would, in his humorous way, say "Well, I'm still vertical." I have grown to love Bob over the years and will truly miss his presence at Middlesex. He was one of a kind, and I share your pain in his passing.

Bob Drouin was a stand up guy.
He headed up the department where I was a rookie programmer in the 70's. I have always appreciated the support and trust he showed to me and so many other 20 somethings as we developed the big systems for personal and commercial lines. He set the stage so everyone to could be successful. We miss you, Bob.

Bob was an outstanding volunteer at Middlesex Hospital for twenty-five years. What a treasure. He was dedicated, responsible, caring and reliable -- someone you could always depend on. I was fortunate to work with him for many years and will always remember him as someone very special. He leaves a huge void and will be missed greatly.

Bob was one of the good guys. I worked with him at The Hartford. He cared very much for his employees, he worked tirelessly at the very tough jobs he was given, and he never complained. He'll be missed

I'm so sad to hear of Bob's passing. It was he as a long time friend that convinced me I, too, should enter the world of DP. A very special person who is going to be missed by all those whose life he touched.

Bob was among the very best to work for. He was always there, he knew and cared about everyone who worked for him, and always came into do his share when overtime hours were required. It was just natural to call him "Daddy D." He was surely one of a kind!
My thoughts and prayers are with his circle of family and friends.

I too worked with "Harry" at the Hartford. Over the years (there were a lot of them)Bob and I were just "Harry" to each other.

Always had fun with a real nice guy.
