Sandra Whitney Obituary
Along with her husband, she is survived by a son, John C. Whitney and his wife, Christine of Cromwell; a daughter, Sherry Whitney and her husband, Thomas Murphy of Portland; a sister, Louise Purkowsky of Ansonia and five grandchildren.
Services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations in Sandra's memory to Middlesex Area Patients Service (MAPS), P.O. Box 1242, Middletown, CT 06457. Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church Street, Middletown is handling the arrangements. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
