Vincent James Randino Obituary
Vincent James Randino, 90, of Cromwell, beloved husband of Constance (Grasso) Randino for sixty-four years, passed away on Monday, September 23rd at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Middletown, he was the son of the late Sophio and Maria (Rio) Randino.
Vincent lived in Cromwell since 1953, was a member of Saint John Church and was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Army. He worked for United Tool & Die in West Hartford, inventing the first manual tube bending machine, and worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for the last ten years of his career. He was a member of American Legion Carlson-Sjovall Post #105 and the American Federation of Machinist and in his spare time, Vincent enjoyed music, camping, fishing and being outdoors.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his son, Ronald Randino of Cromwell; his brother, Sebastian Randino of Middletown and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased two sisters, Angela Tyrseck and Lucy Bombaci.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 26th at 10:00am at Saint John Church, 5 St. John Court, Cromwell. Burial will follow in the State Veterans' Cemetery in Middletown where full military honors will be accorded.
Friends and family may call on Thursday morning before the service from 8:30 to 9:30am at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell. In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations in Vincent's memory to The American Legion Carlson-Sjovall Post #105, P.O. Box 77, Cromwell, CT 06416.
