John (Jack) Wolfe Crovo, Sr., 87, of Main St., Middlefield, husband of Mary A. (Mullen) Crovo, died Saturday January 12, 2013 at Middlesex Hospital.

He was born in Rockland, MA, the son of the late John and Florence (Wolfe) Crovo. A veteran of World War II, John served with the US Navy, Scouts and Raiders. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a sales engineer for Minneapolis Honeywell. John was Past Master and member of Estuary Lodge No.43, Old Saybrook.
He is survived by his sons, John W. Crovo, Jr. of East Haddam, Richard N. Crovo of Millersville, MD, and David J. Crovo of Middlefield; a daughter, Linda L. Crovo of Middlefield; a sister, Ruth Estes of Taunton, MA; eight grandchildren; seven great grand children; also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Toni Marie Crovo and two brothers, William and Roy Crovo.
On Saturday April 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., memorial services will be held at the Middlefield Federated Church Hall, 402 Main Street, Middlefield, CT. Burial will follow at the Middlefield Cemetery, Middlefield. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may send memorial contributions to
