SARCIA, MARION D’AMATO Marion D’Amato Sarcia, 84, wife of the late Albert J. D’Amato and late Rosario S. Sarcia of Middletown, passed away peacefully just before sunrise on Easter Sunday, April 20, at Middlesex Health Care Center. She was born June 10, 1929, in Middletown, daughter of the late Carmelo and Rosina (Milardo) Marino. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, who always put those she loved before herself. God and music were a big part of her life and she enjoyed attending Mass and live musical performances. She is survived by three sons, Daniel D’Amato and his wife Deborah of Clinton, Stephen D’Amato and his wife Marilyn of Southington, Timothy D’Amato and his wife Joanne of Higganum; two granddaughters, Danielle D’Amato Talbert and her husband Dimitri of Wilmington, NC, and Alyson D’Amato of Higganum; one sister, Delores Marino of California; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Patrick Vernale, Sebastian ‘Mike Crane’ Marino, Frank Marino and Salvatore ‘Chim’ Marino; and her sisters, Jenny DiMauro, Rose Bombaci, Antoinette Glines, Ann Falconeri and Eleanor Bedore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 A.M. at St. Sebastian Church, 155 Washington St. Burial will be in the family plot in St. Sebastian Cemetery. There are no calling hours. D’Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St., is handling arrangements.
