Paul Didato, 92, husband of Dorothy (Marshall) Didato, of South Main Street, Middletown, passed away on Sunday at the Middlesex Hospital following a brief illness.

He was born Feb. 10, 1920, in Middletown, son of the late Salvatore and Sebastiana (Passinisi) Didato. He was a member of St. Sebastian Church. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Goodyear Rubber Co. and Pratt & Whitney Aircraft.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Paul P. Didato and his wife, Sharon, of Ivoryton, two daughters, Diane Abdul and her husband, Michael and Debra Stanley and her late husband, Gary, of Middletown, grandchildren, James P. Didato and his wife, Karen, Michael Adbul, Joseph R. Didato and his wife, Betty, David M. Abdul and his wife, Tammie, Daniel P. Stanley and Steven W. Stanley, four great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Adbul, Taryn Abdul, Evan Didato and Nicholas Didato, and also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian Church. Burial will follow in the family plot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middletown. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
