LAKE, ROSE MARIERose Marie Lake, 74, of Haddam, passed away peacefully on Friday February 24, 2017, after a long illness. Rose was very active with the Haddam's Seniors and "Club 60" for many years and St. Peter's Church in Higganum.Rose is survived by her sister, Vivian Smith and her husband Lloyd of Lake Geneva, WI. Rose is also survived her two sons, Jeffrey and Brian Lake, and her extended family, Marge and Ed Rosado, formerly of Higganum. The Rosado family have been by her side during her long illness. Special thanks to all the nurses and staff at the Village at South Farms for their care given to Rose. Her Funeral Liturgy will be held Tuesday (Feb. 28th) at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Church, Higganum. Burial will be in Shailerville-Tylerville Cemetery, Haddam. There are no calling hours. Biega Funeral Home had care of the arrangements.
