Stephanie Luci Faraci, (Step) 21, of Westmont Drive, Middletown, died peacefully in her sleep on February 20th at the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain after a prolonged illness.
Simply put, Stephanie was one super young lady. She had a great sense of humor, a hearty laugh, liked to joke with people, and was always a pleasure to have around during gatherings with family and friends. As life-long resident of Middletown, she attended local schools, the last of which being Middletown High School until she became hospitalized. Stephanie was an avid horseback rider, winning several ribbons and awards. She liked the outdoors, enjoyed swimming, going to the beach, going to Florida, biking, and writing in her journal. Stephanie also participated in the stamp club, girl scouts, and VO-AG.
Despite being ill in her final years, Stephanie stayed optimistic, positive, and never complained. Nurses called her a fighter, yet she will always be her daddy's little girl. The Faraci family would like to thank the Special Care Step-Down Unit for their great care for Stephanie. She will be greatly missed.
Stephanie says good- bye to her family, who cared for her and loved her very much. She leaves her father, David A. Faraci, her younger brother Nathaniel A. Faraci, and her beloved dog, ROODY. Also her aunt , Joanne Roy, two uncles, Gary Termine and Robert Faraci, and six cousins, Daniel, Jennifer, and Caroline Roy, Joey Termine, and Nicholas and Brandon Faraci. She is pre-deceased by her mother, Lucette T. Faraci, and her four grandparents, Emanuel and Lillian Termine, and Armando and Carolyn Faraci.
